Based out of Laguna Beach, CA Hodel McRae has been actively involved in the design and creation of jewelry for over ten years. During that time she has become an expert in metal work, wire wrapping, knotting, and other aspects of jewelry making. She has also taught classes at The Bead Shop here in Laguna Beach.
During the past few years Hodel has expanded her horizons to include the mediums of sterling silver and 14K Gold Filled metals as well as leather in her designs. Her creations often center around the fusion of these different materials which results in unique, one-of-a kind creations unlike anything else you are apt to run across.
She currently displays her work at the Art Show on Main Beach sponsored by the Laguna Beach Craft Guild as well as the award winning Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach, CA.
